Hi guys,
Has anybody had any experience with dating Burmese (i.e. Myanmar) women?
I dated one when I was living in Thailand. She was smart. She was beautiful*. We went on three dates. I tried to escalate by getting a bit touchy feely.
She broke off all contact.
Such is life.
*A definite 9 and I know this because other guys could not keep their eyes off her.
So I wonder:

- Did I come on too strong and did I offend her?

- Did I do the right thing by testing her and did I have a lucky escape from a potential nightmare relationship?
Incidentally, we’re talking about a mature mid-30’s lady here who had previously had a boyfriend so she was no naive young girl.
Are Burmese women really much more traditional than women from other countries? Anyone have any information they can offer?
