Where to Find Petite Ladyboys… The Answer May Surprise You

A few years ago I spent a year living in Bangkok. I tried ladyboy dating but I never actually managed to get that many dates with an actual real live ladyboy.

Why?

Two main reasons:

1. The brilliant MyLadyboyDate ladyboy dating site was in beta testing and there were just too few members to meet. Now there are over 14,000 ladyboys on there.
2. I really struggled to find petite ladyboys. Where are they all, I asked myself?

Actually a 3rd reason is that ladyboys are major flakes, and it was really hard to get them to come out on dates!

Well ladyboy dating is now much easier due to excellent sites like MyLadyboyDate. So where do you go if you actually want to find petite ladyboys? In this post I’ll present the results of my, er, research into the subject. The answer may surprise you.

Thai Ladyboys… Are Tall!

So when I lived in Bangkok I found that the locals there were taller than I’d imagined. Before I moved to Thailand I lived in China. Chinese people have the reputation for being the tallest Asian race. But one of the first things I noticed in Thailand was that the people were, er, tall. Taller than I’d expected.

This seemed to make it harder for me to find petite ladyboys. It was certainly borne out by what I saw in day to day life. The entertainment districts like Nana seemed mostly inhabited by Amazonian ladyboys who started at 5′ 9″ and were well over 6 feet tall in heels.

Filipinos… Not So Tall

If you go on the LoveMe dating site and check out the women (sorry no ladyboys on that site) you’ll see that different nationalities of mail order brides have very different vital statistics. For example the Russian and Ukrainian women on the site tend to start at 5′ 9″. By contrast if you look at the Filipinas on the site then it’s possible to find many who are under 5 feet tall.

So is the Philippines a better place to find petite ladyboys?

I don’t think so!

Here’s some data I found by playing around with the search facility on MyLadyboyDate.

This first chart shows the percentage of ladyboys who are a specific height. I’ve included data for Thailand and the Philippines. These countries have the most ladyboys. They’re also the two most popular countries for Western guys seeking ladyboy girlfriends.

Again, I’ve rebased this chart to show percentages rather than the number of ladyboys in each country. I’ll come onto that later.

So what does this chart tell us?

The first thing is that we have a classic normal distribution chart here. Some ladyboys are petite, some are of Amazonian height, but the vast majority are from 5′ 6″ to 5′ 8″ tall (170cm – 177cm). In fact almost 58% of Thai ladyboys on MyLadyboy date are within this narrow height range. By contrast 67% of Filipino ladyboys on the site are in this height range.

From these results and from just looking at the chart it’s fairly obvious that Filipino ladyboys are indeed on average a little shorter than their Thai sisters. However on close examination it’s a bit more interesting than that.

If you define “petite” as being 5′ 3″ (161cm) or under then there’s actually not much of a significant difference between Thailand and the Philippines. For both countries roughly 5% of ladyboys are petite.

The major difference in the chart is that Thailand has way more ladyboys who are 5′ 8″ (176cm) tall and over. 47% of MyLadyboyDate Thai ladyboys are this height. By comparison, only 29% of Filipino ladyboys are 5′ 8″ or taller. Many more Filipino ladyboys are 5′ 6″ or 5′ 7″. In fact 60% of them are in this narrow height bracket. So if you’re looking to date a Philippines t-girl then the odds are she’ll be 5′ 6″ or 5′ 7″!

Of course I’m assuming here that the dating site members are being honest about their height. I guess that ladyboys don’t really get any benefits of exaggerating their height. They’re far more likely to shave an inch or two off their height given the popularity of petite ladyboys.

Raw Numbers of Ladyboys

I must point out that in the chart above the data shows the percentages of ladyboys from both countries.

We should also take the raw numbers of MyLadyboyDate members into consideration.

When I did this research I found 2832 Thai ladyboys and 5410 Philippines ladyboys. So there are almost twice as many Filipino ladyboys as there are Thai ladyboys.

I’ll point out that this is just data from the MyLadyboyDate membership base. There are likely to be less ladyboys who are members of this dating site in Thailand than there are in the Philippines. This is because:

• There are more foreigners who visit Thailand as a tourist destination, so ladyboys find it much easier to meet prospective partners in real life.
• There are also many more foreigners who live and work in Thailand, or who are retired there.
• Filipino ladyboys are far more likely to be able to read and write English so they find it easier to use a website that’s primarily available in the English language.
• People from the Philippines tend to be a bit more tech savvy due to the large tech industry presence there.

If you’re interested then here’s the chart for the actual numbers of ladyboys by height:

Again that huge bulge of Filipino ladyboys who are 5′ 6″ – 5′ 7″ is really apparent!

So how many petite ladyboys did I find on the dating site? In terms of raw numbers I found 151 Thai ladyboys who were 5′ 3″ and under, and 284 from the Philippines who were that height. Again there are roughly twice as many Filipino ladyboys as Thais on the site so you may want to take this into consideration.

One further thought…

Are there any really tall Amazonian ladyboys, or are they just a figment of my imagination?

As I said before I was sure that when I lived in Thailand that the ladyboys I saw walking around Nana Plaza or Pattaya’s Walking Street were incredibly tall. But the data in these charts doesn’t really back me up. In fact I couldn’t find any 6′ 3″ ladyboys on MyLadyboyDate. Only around 3% of Thai ladyboys on there are 6 feet tall or over (it’s around half that figure for Filipinos). Well maybe the Thai ladyboys I saw were walking round in 6″ heels.

In Summary

So this data shows that there are petite ladyboys from both Thailand and the Philippines. However you’ll find that the vast majority of Asian ladyboys are in the 5′ 6″ – 5′ 8″ height bracket. If you focus too much on height as a criteria then you’ll seriously restrict your available pool of potential ladyboy girlfriends.
